Tradition Meets Innovation

The Nørge Stillhet Hybrid Sauna combines traditional Finnish-style heat with full-spectrum infrared therapy, allowing you to switch between or blend both heat sources for a truly personalized experience. Finnish heat delivers intense, dry warmth that raises your core temperature, promotes deep sweating, and boosts cardiovascular health, while infrared heat penetrates deeply with near, mid, and far wavelengths to support skin rejuvenation, improve circulation, and enhance detoxification. This hybrid approach gives you the best of both worlds—invigorating radiant heat alongside gentle, therapeutic infrared warmth—so you can tailor each session to your wellness needs, recover faster, reduce inflammation, and feel refreshed on every level.

Dry Heat, Deep Benefit

The Stillhet sauna harnesses the traditional Finnish dry heat method to create a deeply invigorating and purifying experience. Unlike moist or steam-based saunas, Finnish dry heat offers consistent high temperatures with low humidity, promoting intense sweating that helps detoxify the body by flushing out impurities through the skin. This dry heat also enhances circulation, eases muscle tension, and supports cardiovascular health by gently increasing heart rate and blood flow. The Stillhet’s carefully designed heating system ensures even, radiant warmth that penetrates deeply, encouraging relaxation and mental clarity while preserving that authentic, time-tested Finnish sauna experience. Perfect for those seeking both physical rejuvenation and mindful calm, the Stillhet’s Finnish dry heat delivers lasting wellness benefits in a serene, minimalist environment.

The Nørge Stillhet

What type of heat source do hybrid saunas utilise?

Hybrid saunas utilise a combination of traditional electric (or wood-fired) heaters and modern infrared heating panels. This means they provide both conventional high-heat, steam-like warmth and deep-penetrating infrared heat, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of both heating methods in a single session.

Can I use dry heat and infrared at the same time?

No — in a hybrid sauna, you can’t use the traditional dry heat (from the stove) and the infrared heaters at the same time. They operate separately to ensure safe and effective heating, so you’ll need to choose either the conventional heater for a classic sauna experience or the infrared panels for deep, targeted warmth.

Do I have to assemble the unit myself?

Nørge offers white-glove delivery and installation on all units. For our Stillhet model, we recommend professional installation that entails hardware assembly and special electrical wiring for the unit.

How long does it take to heat up?

Infrared sauna heat times, depending on humidity and ambient temperature, take between 30 to 40 minutes to reach peak temperature.

What is the peak temperature?

Peak temperature for the infrared setting is 65 C and peak temperature for the Finnish heat is 110 C.
