The science
What red light therapy actually does.
Red and near-infrared light interact with cells through light-sensitive processes — photobiomodulation. Different wavelengths reach different depths, which is why both matter.
Red light, 660nm
The most surface-level wavelength — often used for skin and general wellness routines, absorbed close to where it lands.
Use Closer distance, shorter sessions, consistent daily use.
Near-infrared, 850nm
An invisible, deeper-penetrating wavelength, commonly used in recovery-focused protocols targeting soft tissue and muscle.
Use Recovery sessions, after training or a sauna.
Combined, 660 + 850nm
Red and near-infrared together — surface to deep — for a more complete light-therapy ritual. The Sol Go runs both in one wand.
Use A full protocol covering skin and deeper tissue.
Research suggests photobiomodulation may support recovery, inflammation response, circulation and skin-related wellness depending on wavelength, dose and consistency. Norge does not provide medical advice; results vary and this should not replace professional healthcare guidance.
